DynaGeoX viewer download page
One of the real great features of EUKLID DynaGeo is the possibility to export your geometric construction into a web page. Perhaps you say that you've seen this before: you sat at your computer waiting a long time for the Java applet to load and when it finally did, the tool was boringly slow...
But the EUKLID DynaGeoX viewer is different, because it is not a Java applet but an ActiveX control that runs nearly at the speed of an EXE file! Another advantage is that it must be downloaded only once: then it will be added to your local Windows systems. And finally, if one day you'll need a newer version of the viewer, your IE will manage this all by itself! The only drawback is: you need to use the IE (at least version 5.0). But it comes with Windows anyway, so this is not a real restriction.
While you read this, your IE has already started to download the viewer archive. When you are asked if you really want to install this ActiveX control, please confirm. The archive is signed, and your Windows should recognize the signature as trustworthy. After a few moments, the frame below will show the DynaGeoX viewer, and then you're sure that it has been successfully installed in your Windows system:
And if it doesn't?
Maybe, you didn't allow your IE to install any ActiveX controls at all.
Please change the appropriate settings of your IE and reload this page!
Another problem is that on many Windows systems it's necessary to be logged in as "Administrator" when installing a new program. This is also true for installing ActiveX controls, so log in as "Admin" if necessary!
